 Experience

  • Develop AI strategies, select and implement AI tools, and train teams on AI best practices.

  • Providing individuals with the knowledge and skills to combat threats in the digital world. Delivering lectures and presentations, and leading hands-on training sessions. Mentoring and assisting students during class activities and projects. Responsibilities include grading homework and projects, providing empathy, support, and encouragement while engaging students.

    • SOC analyst training includes Incident Response, Email analysis, SIEM, Linux, Windows, threat intelligence, reporting, presenting, and more.

    • Security Engineer training, including Firewall, SIEM, policies, project management, and more. Orientation to all sections of the IT department, including Service desk, Planning, Networks, Security, System admin, Database, and application.

    • In addition to computer skills, I also gained teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving from this role.

  • At the Sheikh Zayed Institute for pediatric surgical innovation in Washington DC. I have gained skills, including working in a team environment, meeting deadlines, writing reports, and learning new concepts. During my internship, I had to learn a new programming language (objective C), remember to use a new program (Xcode), and build an app for the pediatric cardiologist to determine if cardiac structures are the appropriate size for the stage of fetal development. This sparked my interest in research, aided by improvement in my skills (project management, problem-solving, desire to learn, teamwork, presentation, poster creation, and writing.)

  • Mentoring and assisting students during class activities and projects. Responsibilities include grading homework and projects, providing empathy, support, and encouragement while engaging students.

  • Delivered Cyber Security Modules, ranging from Basic OS and Linux to threat hunting, at a high school and university level. This allowed me to work on my leadership, mentoring, and conflict resolution with my students.

  • Worked alongside the International recruitment team and admissions team as an officer. The goal was to help students choose the university and guide them through their next steps. Incorporating administrative work, flexibility, communication, and multitasking.

  • Provided peer‐to‐peer support to prospective international students, supported international recruitment, marketing, and highlighted the student experience. This aided my flexibility, creativity, active listening, attention to detail, and critical thinking.

Education

Biorobotics

Master of Science - University of Bristol

In master's program, we covered a diverse range of theoretical and research-based concepts. For instance, we worked on a group project related to Biorobotics in assistive and rehabilitative robotics, Computational Neuroscience, and a Dissertation project that involved RL simulation, AI, Sustainable Development, Biosystems and Biorobotics, Robotics Research Technology, and Methods, as well as Robotics Systems.

Cyber Security and computer forensics

Bachelor of Engineering - Edinburgh Napier University

After studying cybersecurity and forensics for two years at HCT, I transferred to Edinburgh Napier University to pursue my studies in Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics with honors. During my time there, I completed courses on network security, cryptography, and digital forensics, advanced cryptography, network security management, application security and cybercrime investigation.
